SPRING BREAK - Homework and such...

As we all take off to enjoy our spring break I thought it would be beneficial to share with you all things we need to know.

Great Books I :   Please start considering your projects, generating ideas for your band. We will be constructing and working on the projects the week that we return. They will be due on 3/23/2012, please do not return from break with them already completed as this will be an in-class project. Please also make sure you get your copy of The Artist of the Missing by Paul La Farge as we will begin that book the week of 3/26/2012. 


Great Books II:  During spring break you should acquire and read as much of Power of Six as you can before returning to class (I'm recommending a minimum of 2/3 of the book). The week that we return we will have a end of the book discussion and do an activity. There will be no project for this book as it is a continuation of the Lorien Series and your fictional  character persona projects will suffice. The week of the SBA's 3/26/2012 we will begin looking at The Walking Dead. Please be sure to acquire this book from PageOne. 


Guided Study:  Please be working on your individualized projects. I have double checked action plans and there are some of you who will be presenting very soon! Please be ready and check your action plans. DONT FORGET ARTICLE REVIEWS!
