I hope you all have a safe and restful break. The coming weeks will be very busy, as a result, we must accomplish a few things while on break!
Great Books I
You all should be polishing up your book recommendation write-ups that will be presented Monday 12/2/13. Remember that this is a persuasive piece and the end goal is to convince others to select your book for reading. You should give careful consideration to the suggested questions handout and you should have no trouble with the 1 to 1.5 pages of writing.
Great Books II
We wrapped up our clusters units today and have begun the Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Over the break you are to read up to page 154. (Part III- The Aryan Shopkeeper). You should develop 2 Level II's and 2 Level III's over those chapters for discussion.
